What’s your Kua number?

If you’re only familiar with Western Feng Shui you probably didn’t know you have a Kua (pronounced kwah) number.

In classical Chinese Feng Shui everyone has something called a Kua number.  This number is based on your birthday and gender.

Kua numbers range from 1-9 and each of these numbers has specific beneficial feng shui directions and specific challenging feng shui directions.  Kua number 5 is the only one that is divided into Male and Female because it represents the yin and yang energy in feng shui.   You can find your Kua number by clicking here.

When you know your best directions and you know which Flying Stars are sitting on them for the year and for the month, you can increase your odds in picking the best months to:

  • meet new people
  • launch a business
  • start a sales campaign
  • visit the doctor
  • start a new exercise routine or diet
  • get married
  • travel
  • do anything else important to you!

When you use your Kua directions in conjuction with the Flying Stars activations you have an edge in increasing your luck and who couldn’t use a little more luck each month?

Flying Star feng shui can be dangerous to your comfort zone

Have you ever noticed that some people say their desperate to change their lives and no matter what they do, nothing ever seems to work out for them?

I’ve seen this  a lot with the people I work with.  One woman named Linda from the U.K. contacted me because she had tried a different type of feng shui before and said she didn’t see any change.  She decided she wanted to try Flying Star Feng Shui to see if it would make a difference for her.

I asked her what, specifically, she wanted to change in her life and she said her career.   Linda had been in the same job for a number of years and felt she was ready to take her career to the next level.  But whenever she applied for a better position either she wouldn’t get a call back or she’d go for the interview and never hear from the company again.

She said that because she didn’t make much money she found that there were many times when she struggled just to pay her bills.  There was nothing left over for dinners out much less a vacation.

She also wanted to attract a boyfriend.  She said that she’d been on only a handful of dates in the past four years and none of those dates turned into a relationship.

I took a look at the floor plan of her apartment and could see several challenges going on for her.

First, she had the Illness Star on the money area of her front door.  This always means it’s hard to bring in money which was why she was struggling to pay her bills.  This Star can also keep you from advancing in your career to a higher paying salary because its job is to make sure your cash flow is anemic.  If by some chance you are able to bring in extra money it will be short lived because of the energy of this Star.

The second problem was that her kitchen was in her relationship area.  Whenever you have a kitchen, bathroom or laundry in one of your good directions it drains away half the energy of those directions.  It doesn’t mean you can’t be successful.  It just means you have to try a lot harder.

Her career direction was actually where her dining room was located which was good but with the Illness Star on her front door keeping money at bay was preventing her from being able to advance in her work.

The most important Flying Stars in any home are going to be the ones on the front door and the ones on the master bedroom.  The reason for this is that the front door brings in the daytime/yang/active energy and the master bedroom is the dominant room for the nighttime/yin/passive energy.

Although the other Stars in your home are important, these Stars will have the greatest overall impact on you and your family.

So I sent her the Feng Shui recommendations for her home and she was very excited to get them in place.  Once she did, though, she got a very unexpected surprise.

She said she got a raise at work within a week.

She said a friend she hadn’t talked to in months called out of the blue within a few days to set her up on a blind date.

She said she sat down to update her resume and the words came so easily she was able to finish it in a couple of hours.

Then other things happened she wasn’t expecting.  She said the people she worked with were nicer to her.  (I had no idea they were mean until she told me this.)  She also said that for the first time ever she was able to arrange a one week vacation to go home and see her family.

She was stunned.

She was also very scared.  She was scared, she said, because all these changes were coming too fast for her and she didn’t think she was ready for them.

So you know what she did?  She took down her feng shui activations.

And do you know what happened?  Her life went back to the way it was.  She went back to struggling to pay the bills.  The blind date that had been a hit ended up hitting a brick wall.  She decided not to look for a new job.

But in her misery she was comfortable because it was familiar.  Good fortune and luck were not things she was accustomed to and they frightened her.

How the Feng Shui of Phillip Garrido and Jaycee Dugard are Intertwined

Jaycee Dugard

Jaycee Dugard

People all across America are hearing the heartbreaking story of Jaycee Dugard’s kidnapping from a bus stop when she was just 11 years old.  Her step father saw the abduction but was on his bike at the time and not close enough to stop it or follow the car.  Though he did report what he saw the police weren’t able to track down the car or the kidnappers.

Fast forward 18 years and Jaycee is now 29 years old with two children fathered by one of her kidnappers, a convicted rapist, Phillip Garrido.

Jaycee and her children have been living in tents in the back of the home for all this time as far as anyone knows and the case was solved purely by chance despite the fact that Garrido’s parole officer visited him monthly and never seemed to notice anything unusual.  (Was the person BLIND or was there really nothing unusual to notice?)

It’s wonderful Jaycee was found and her mother Terry Probyn must not only be relieved but grief stricken at the same time.  How Jaycee and her daughters, who have never known freedom in their lifetime, will recover from this is unknown but it won’t be easy.

So how does the feng shui of both Jaycee and her abductor come into play in all of this?

In a very strange way actually.

Jaycee Dugard and Phillip Girrado have the same feng shui number (this is called a Kua number and is based on your birthday) meaning their feng shui energy is the same.  They share the same Success, Health, Relationship and Wisdom directions.  Because of this similarity Girrado would have been able to speak to Jaycee in terms she could relate to energetically because their feng shui energy is similar.  It’s just that Girrado represents the negative side of this feng shui number.

Since they have the same feng shui number it would have been easier for him to manipulate her than even other children he may have abducted.  For him he is likely to have felt a ‘bond’ with Jaycee as sick as that sounds.

At the time of her abduction Garrido and Jaycee’s Relationship direction had the Violence Star for the year and for the month which doubled the odds for a violent event for both of them.   Jaycee’s abduction was violent for her and Garrido was the one who played out the energy of those Stars.  Jaycee’s parents weren’t immune to this energy either because these double Violence Stars were sitting on the feng shui gua tied to Family meaning their family was impacted by this event as well.

Even more sadly is that the Flying Star feng shui combination on Garrido and Jaycee’s Success direction was the Disaster and Violence Stars which is tied to prostitution.  He certainly succeeded at prostituting Jaycee and now police are investigating whether he is responsible for the deaths of other missing girls whose cases have sat unresolved for years.

And another feng shui energy that aided in Garrido’s success was the New Beginning/Long-Term Abuncance Star combination on his Wisdom direction.  This means that the twisted ideas he had back in 1991 about abducting Jaycee were going to create a turning point in his life that would have long-lasting effects.  Keep in mind that Jaycee’s decision to get into the car (assuming she even had one) also created a turning point that would have a long-term impact on her life too.

Feng shui Flying Stars very rarely create such horrific outcomes.  The Stars require human intervention to trigger their positive as well as negative aspects.  Other people share Phillip Garrido and Jaycee Dugard’s feng shui number and didn’t have anything even close to this happen back in June 1991.

What I have found is that if you are prone to bad decisions, harmful behavior and other detrimental actions then the negative Flying Stars will just bring out the worst in you ten thousand fold and you will succeed in even the worst of crimes.

On the flip side if you are hard working, show compassion for those around you and use action/behavior that is beneficial to those around you then the positive Flying Stars will bring out the best in you ten thousand fold and the rewards that go with them.

I believe this is what happened with Phillip Dugard and the reason that Jaycee’s feng shui energy didn’t support her is that, as a child, the adult’s feng shui energy and intent was just much stronger.  She couldn’t counter him.

But now Jaycee is an adult and as an adult her feng shui energy is on equal footing with Girrado’s even if mentally she is still under his sway.

And as it turns out this year’s feng shui Flying Stars are identical to those of 1991 when Jaycee was kidnapped.  This means that Jaycee’s Wisdom energy was in her favor particularly on August 26, 2009 when she and her daughters were rescued.  It also means that the Disaster Star on Girrado’s Success direction was finally disasterous for him.  You may be wondering why it wasn’t disasterous for Jaycee.  In a way it may have been because this is the only life she’s known for the past 18 years and at the same time the Disaster Star brings transformation and Jaycee’s discovery and return to her mother is certainly going to transform her life but hopefully for the better this time.

This case has caused such an uproar that the State of California which was originally planning to release prisoners early to save the state some money is getting a lot of angry calls from citizens.  They’ll need to re-think this decision in light of Jaycee’s situation.

You may be wondering if anything can be done from a feng shui perspective to combat the negative Stars and the answer is yes.  In feng shui there are remedies for negative Stars like the Disaster and Violence Stars and activations for positive Stars like the New Beginning and Long-Term Abundance Stars.

David Carradine’s Bizarre Death

     David Carradine

David Carradine

David Carradine was probably best known for his role in the t.v. show Kung Fu back in the 1970s.  When I was a kid we used to watch it every week.  He made a comeback of sorts more recently in the ‘Kill Bill’ movies.

The 72 year old actor was found dead in his hotel room in Thailand this past week with a rope tied around his neck and genitals.  The evidence surrounding his death leads authorities to believe that he died accidentally as a result of auto-erotic asphyxiation which you can read more about here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31129156

It’s sad that he had to die in such a strange and publicly humiliating way and yet at the same time his feng shui was completely in line with the type of ending he chose for himself.

David Carradine’s Health direction had a very tough feng shui Flying Star on it this year (flying stars have predictive ability in feng shui and increase the odds of events happening to you).  In fact it was the Star of Violence.  That coupled with the fact that the monthly flying star on his Health direction doubled this violence energy increased the odds that he would die in a violent way or experience violence that was harmful to his health this month.

His Wisdom direction was also weakened by his Flying Star feng shui this year because the Disaster Star was there meaning decisions he would make for himself would lead to disaster or transform his life in a major way.  On June 3, when he died, the Violence Star on his Wisdom direction too.  When you combine Disaster and Violence together and then tie it to decisions you make for yourself (your Wisdom) it increases the odds of making choices that bring death in a violent way.

The double Violence on David’s Health and the Disaster/Violence on his Wisdom created the catalyst for turning his unusual sexual practice from dangerous to deadly.

Flying Star Feng Shui is an unusual art in that it gives you what you ask for in its own time.  When the actions you carry out are positive the beneficial Flying Stars will allow you to reap your rewards to the fullest extent.  When the actions you carry out are harmful or dangerous the negative Flying Stars will just as generously hand you the fallout.

That’s why it’s important to think about what you’re doing with your life, how you treat others, the people you choose to associate with and whether those actions and people support or enslave you because the time will come when your Flying Stars catch up with you and hand you the keys to the castle or the keys to Davey Jones locker.

In addition to managing your Human Luck (your actions) you can also be aware of how your Flying Star feng shui can affect your from year to year and month to month.  The benefit of this information is that unlike other predictive arts (like astrology) there are remedies to negative Flying Stars and activations for positive Flying Stars.  This gives you control over creating the best energy around you all the time no matter what the Stars bring.

In other words, you can say, “Bring it on!” whether there’s rain or shine.

Why Roger Federer Will Win the French Open

    Roger Federer

Roger Federer

If you read my blog ‘Robin Soderling’s Excellent Fate’ on May 31, 2009 you’d probably think I would predict that Robin Soderling would win the French open against Roger Federer.  But it’s a new month and the Feng Shui Flying Stars have all shifted.

That means good news for Federer but not such good news for Soderling.

Here’s what’s happening for the two players right now (from a feng shui perspective).  When you’re looking at the odds of athletes winning anything you have to see what the feng shui energy on their Success and Health directions look like because these are the two areas that will have the greatest influence on them.

Robin Soderling, the Swedish player who upset Rafael Nadal in May, has great flying stars (a type of feng shui that has predictive ability) on both his Success and Health directions for the year.  The problem is that there are also flying stars on these directions for the month as well and these are not so good.

In fact, his Success direction is weakened this month by the Illness Star.  This means he’ll have to work harder to be successful this month.

His health direction is not that great either.  He has the Windfall Star there for the year, which is great for winning things unexpectely as he did against Rafael Nadal but this month he has the Robbery Star there.  When you combine these two feng shui stars you get loss and robbery.  This tells me that Robin Soderling’s odds of losing are much higher this month.

Looking at Roger Federer’s feng shui flying stars we get a different picture.  Roger has the Abundance Star on his Success direction for the year which is a wonderful Star for gaining long-term contracts and creating long-term success for yourself.  This month the energy of this star doubles which is excellent for winning the French Open as it will allow him to further ‘make a name for himself’ in the tennis world.

His Health Direction doesn’t have a great Star on it for the year but this month he has the Abundance Star in this direction as well.  When you combine the yearly feng shui flying star with the Abundance Star for the month it creates greater odds for windfalls and financial gains.

When you look at Robin Soderling’s personal flying stars compared to Roger Federer’s the feng shui says Federer is the easy winner for the French Open.

In feng shui there are 3 kinds of luck: Heaven Luck (your fate/destiny), Human Luck (talent/skills/decisions) and your Earth Luck (feng shui).  Each of these represent 1/3 of your total luck.

When you look at flying star feng shui and your personal feng shui directions it gives you a picture of the possibilities for your Heaven Luck.  Setting up your feng shui in your home and office helps you create your Earth Luck and your Human Luck is created when you take action in your life.

Most people only use their Human Luck to live their lives and then wonder why they don’t move forward as quickly as they can or in the direction they want to go.  It’s easy to see that when you’re only accessing 1/3 of the possibilities open to you and leaving the other 2/3 on the table it’s like driving a car with flat tires.  You can move forward but it’s going to take a while to reach your destination.
