August 2010 Flying Star Feng Shui outlook and remedies

It’s time for the August 2010′s Flying Star Feng Shui outlook to see what possibilities lie ahead for the month.

If you’re not familiar with Flying Star Feng Shui it’s an ancient Chinese philosophy used to provide clues about what opportunities and challenges are more likely to present themselves in the coming month or year based on specific ‘stars’ and where they sit.  So in a way it’s kind of like numerology and astrology because while the Flying Stars have specific meanings their interpretation is going to be different for each person based on their situation in life.  You have to consult with a Flying Star Feng Shui Master to find out what they mean for you.

On a broader basis we can look at these Flying Stars and see in general what possibilities lie ahead for the month which is what this blog is all about.

Here is the Flying Star outlook for August 2010:

In Flying Star Feng Shui there are 4 positive Stars, 4 challenging Stars and one neutral Star.  This is why you will see both positive and not-so-positive possibilities on a Flying Star chart each month.  The good news is that there are feng shui remedies we can use to reduce the energy of the negative areas and enhance the energy of the positive directions.

Here is the outlook for August by direction:

  • Southeast – This area is troublesome again this month.  If you’re pregnant and your bedroom is in the southeast area of your home it would be a good idea to sleep in another room this month.  Arguments about money are also possible in this area so have discussions about finances in another area of your home or office.
  • East –  This area can bring challenges for the oldest son in the family or the oldest male in the family.  If you’re that person or you have a son who drives be more alert and wear your seatbelt this month as the chance of an auto accident is greater now.
  • Northeast – This area is actually a good place to conduct real estate deals.  If your home is for sale and the front door faces northeast your odds of selling it this month are higher than usual.
  • South –This is a tough month for people who are popular or are ‘the star’ in their office because of the double conflict energy in the south this month which can bring arguments and jealous comments. It’s a good month to go on vacation if you’re that person.  If you’re not that person think twice before saying something negative about people you work with or are good friends with.
  • Center – This area can create illness or mental stress right now.  If your kitchen or bedroom is in this area try to avoid them as much as possible.  (Makes for a good excuse to eat out or go out of town for a while.)
  • North – This is a great month for academic success and since school starts this month in many states it’s a great month to go back to school.  If you’ve been wanting a promotion or raise you could find that you get it this month.
  • Northwest – This is an interesting area in August because it really supports two different kinds of energy.  Some people may experience difficulties with male bosses, their fathers or male mentors.  Other people may experience a windfall as a result of knowing a man who is in a position to help them.  Focus on the positive aspects of the feng shui energy this month as you place your remedy here.
  • West – If you’re traveling for work you could find that your trip goes very well.  The Flying Stars here this month also create competitive situations at work.  You can come out ahead if you come up with creative solutions and ideas.
  • Southwest – Illness is indicative of this area in August.  If you have on-going health issues or are pregnant then don’t sleep in the room that is in the southwest area of your home this month.  Women and mothers are more prone to this energy.

Okay, now that we know what possibilities lie ahead (again, you may be affected differently depending on your personal feng shui) let’s look at the feng shui remedies:

The way to set up feng shui for your home is to:

  1. Draw out a sketch of your floor plan
  2. Write down where N, S, E, W, SE, SW, NE and NW are on your floor plan.  If you don’t know what directions go where you can take a compass reading.  I have some videos on Youtube you can watch to find out how to find compass directions.  Here’s one of them:
  3. Draw a tic-tac-toe symbol over your floor plan
  4. Put your feng shui remedies in place based on the feng shui plan you just created for your house.

As an added note if you’re house has a front, garage or back door in the east, center or west you can use to come and go from your house this month then use those since this is where the best energy is located for August.

I was very grateful to find your July 2010 flying stars feng shui (FS2) just hours! 😉 after you uploaded Part 1 cures on YT since I’ve been DiamondFS-less this year, due to some snail mail failure I had failed to follow up on. “At least this second half of this year’ll be DFS-cured,” I hoped. Yet today, tho grateful I am to have found your blog-posted Aug beginnings, where are the actual remedies?:-( I thank you about please being more complete about the month each month (why repeat FS basics?) beginning next time/ASAP, if possible. Today’s the NRG changing day! Please continue YT monthly cures vids. Your Floridascapes are refreshing to high desert dwellers such as myself to enjoy as Diamond Feng Shui Flying Stars “classroom”:-))
