Feng Shui Triple Whammy for Iran

Iranian Protesters 2Iran’s election is over and after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad defended the vote as ‘real and free’ the people began to protest.  Like any government that does not want to be questioned Ahmadinejad brushed off questions about voter fraud as “not important” in his point of view.

It’s no surprise that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was ‘re-elected.’  After all we’re used to this kind of news coming from countries ruled by dictatorship.

But the feng shui of Iran very much supports this as well.

Iran is uniquely positioned on the planet in that it falls into 3 areas of the feng shui ba gua (pronounced bah gwah).  A ba gua looks like a tic-tac-toe symbol and is used to create a feng shui blueprint of homes, buildings, cities and even countries.

Iran falls into 3 areas of the ba gua: Future, Knowledge and History.  Because this country is almost equally positioned in each of these areas it will always feel divided as a nation.  One section of the country is going to feel drawn to being #1 and being in charge, another section is going to want to follow inner wisdom and a more spiritual way of life and the third section is going to want the country to continue to do things the way they’ve always been done as change is not comfortable to them.

It’s not likely this country will ever have peace unless they can come together and move toward the future based on mistakes and successes they’ve made in the past while honoring the teachings of the Koran.  That’s a tall order to fill.

This year is even tougher for bringing the country together because of the Flying Stars that sit in these areas of the ba gua for 2009.  The Future area holds the Disaster Star, the Knowledge area holds the Conflict Star and the History area holds the Violence Star.  When you mix Disaster, Conflict and Violence you get a 24-hour/7 day a week molitif cocktail (sorry, no paper umbrella with that).

And then there’s the city of Tehran which also has the feng shui Disaster Star on it this year.  This Star can bring about transformation too but when your actions are not aligned with change you get disaster instead of  transformation.

This is why there was an unprecedented show of support for reformist candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi beforethe election by young voters (remind you of any other country by any chance?).  They wanted the change that the Disaster Star is promising them this year and since they didn’t get it protesters challenged Iranian authorities to show their anger.   This kind of action against the government is virtually unheard of in a country that rules with an iron fist but is not surprising given the feng shui Flying Star energy there this year.

As for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s feng shui, well, it’s not that great.  In order to win an election of some kind you really need positive feng shui Flying Stars on your Relationship direction because other people are going to be voting for you.

This year Ahmadinejad has the Illness Star on his Relationship direction meaning he’s going to have to work a lot harder at maintaining and even creating new  relationships with people because the Illness Star weakens his ability to connect with people.

On top of that during the month of June he has the Conflict Star on his Relationship direction too which means people are not going to agree with him and will argue or challenge him.  This is what we’re seeing as a result of this election.

I’m also very doubtful that he actually won the election for another reason and that is that this month he has the Robbery Star on his Success direction.  When this feng shui Flying Star lands on your career area (Success) it usually means you lose your job.  If you’re a politician it means you’re likely to lose the position you were running for.

So given the feng shui energy on the country, the city and on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad it’s no wonder that people are rioting against the government because the feng shui energy says these people want change and Ahmadinejad robbed them of that opportunity…for now anyway.

Does this make you wonder what your feng shui Flying Stars have in store for you?  You can find out here: Personal Feng Shui Outlook.
